2024 so far
2024 is following 2023 as another year of wild travels. Back in late December, I stacked the first six months of this year with about one trip per month. More amazing travel opportunities appeared along the way. Each trip was a standout, but some favorite moments were spending the day on a yacht around Koh Samui in Thailand, snow trekking in the Dolomites in Italy, and cruising past the Parliament Building in Budapest as the bright lights glistened in the evening sky. Finishing out June was a five night trip to St Barths that felt like being in French Neverland.
Here’s a brief breakdown of the year so far:
January
Singapore for six nights
Staying at the Edition, the Shangri-la, and the Capella.
Site tours at Raffles, the Fullerton, Fullerton Bay, Four Seasons, Ritz Carlton, and Mandarin Oriental
Thailand for six nights
Staying at the Kimpton Kitalay Koh Samui and the Four Seasons Bangkok.
Site tours at Banyan Tree Koh Samui, Four Seasons Koh Samui, and Six Senses Koh Samui.
In Bangkok, visiting the Park Hyatt, Waldorf Astoria, and Capella.
Laguna Beach for one night.
Staying at the Montage Laguna Beach.
February
Nashville for three nights.
New York City for two nights.
Staying at the Mercer in Soho.
Site tours at Warren Street, the Fifth Avenue Hotel, the Pierre, and the Standard Highline.
March
Rome for four nights.
Staying at the Chapter Roma and the Sofitel Villa Borghese.
Site tours at Hotel Eden, the St Regis, Six Senses, Bulgari, Hotel de la Ville, Hotel de Russie, the Portrait, Palazzo Ripetta, JK Place, the Edition, and Hotel Hassler,
Dolomites for three nights.
Staying at Como Alpina Dolomites.

Milan for four nights.
Staying at Hotel Magna Pars.
Visiting the Armani, Palazzo Parigi, Four Seasons, Mandarin Oriental, Principe di Savoia, and Casa Cipriani.
Florence for two nights.

Budapest for one night.
Staying at Anantara New York Palace.
Boarding the AmaBella for a seven night cruise on the Danube.
On the cruise we stopped in Vienna, Bratislava, Salzburg and Vilshofen.
April

May
Costa Rica for five nights.
Staying at the Los Suenos Marriott Resort.
June
Miami for five nights.

Visiting the Faena, 1 Hotel South Beach, JW Marriott Turnberry and W South Beach.
